Mars 28/29 August 2020

Slightly better seeing during some periods, and the C11 was well-collimated (using the tri-Bahtinov) and acclimatised. Imaging setup: Barlow 2x – XPRSS FilterWheel – Baader RGB IR filters – Esatto focusser – ASI290mm monochrome camera. Best details came out in infrared, which is a clear sign that seeing was still not good.

IC1396

One of my favorite objects, IC1396 in Cepheus, or also called the “Elephant Trunc”, imaged from Castellet-en-Luberon under a beautifull SQM 21.30 sky, with crickets, shooting stars.
