A pretty decent Jupiter

Despite high clouds the seeing appeared to be pretty ok when I started this imaging session around midnight. Some features on the planet could be observed on the computer screen in a steady way, also the shadow spot of Io was a nice, round, non-dancing disk.

A rare sight, which triggered excitement at capturing the planet under these conditions.

The image on-screen almost looked like a final image under bad seeing.
